| Date and Time | Description | Services Affected | Expected Impact | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 2026-07-16 @ 09:00 to 17:00 BST | Cooling system maintenance requiring an engineer to enter the system to physically clean the coolers. | Isambard-AI Phase 2 | An initial workload drain will stop all work and the system will be shut down while maintenance is carried out on the first cooler. As each cooler serves 50% of the machine, that half of the system will be returned to service once its cooler is complete, before work begins on the second cooler. The remaining nodes will be returned to service once the second cooler is complete. Login node access will be available throughout. Slurm access will be disrupted on several occasions during the initial shutdown phase; if you have issues managing jobs during this time, please wait and try again later. Work queued before the drain will resume once the system is returned to service. | |
