Please see below for current and upcoming scheduled maintenance which may impact users of BriCS services and facilities.

2026-09-08 @ 11:00 to 12:00 BST	Essential network maintenance to improve the resilience of our site-wide network infrastructure.	Site-wide	Brief, intermittent network outages are expected during this time, which may cause a temporary loss of connectivity to our services. Any interruption should be short-lived; if you continue to experience issues after the maintenance window has ended, please get in touch with the BriCS team.
2026-09-10 @ 06:00 to 20:00 BST	Shutdown to enable power work to connect the National AI Data Facility. A reservation will be used to drain the system from 06:00, with shutdown starting immediately once the system has been drained.	Isambard-AI Phase 2	The system will be completely unavailable during this time. Any queued work will remain queued until the system is resumed. We will restore access as early as possible.
2026-10-07 @ 06:00 to 22:00 BST	Upgrade to the management system that runs Isambard-AI Phase 2. A reservation will be used to drain the system from 06:00, with the upgrade starting immediately once the system has been drained.	Isambard-AI Phase 2	The system will be completely unavailable during this time. Jobs submitted that cannot complete before the reservation starts will be held until the upgrade is complete. Any queued work will remain queued until the system is resumed. We will restore access as early as possible.	Preparatory work begins in the week before the upgrade. This earlier work is not expected to affect your use of the system.
