Planned Maintenance

Please see below for current and upcoming scheduled maintenance which may impact users of BriCS services and facilities.

2025-11-24 @ 9:00 until 2025-11-25 @ 17:00 UTC	Cluster maintenance to upgrade cluster management software.	Isambard 3 Grace and Isambard 3 MACS	Isambard 3 Grace and Isambard 3 MACS will not be available whilst the upgrade takes place.
2025-12-02 @ 10:00 until 2025-12-03 @ 17:00 UTC	Physical works affecting Isambard-AI Phase 2	Isambard-AI Phase 2 Compute Service	Isambard-AI Phase 2 compute nodes need to be idle to allow physical works to be performed. Compute nodes will be drained using a reservation starting at 10:00 UTC. User access to the login nodes will not be affected and work can be submitted as usual and will queue until service is resumed. We expect service to be resumed by 17:00 UTC or earlier.
2025-12-02 @ 10:00 to 17:00 UTC	Isambard-AI Phase 2 JupyterHub upgrades	Isambard AI Phase 2 JupyterHub service	There will be an outage of the Isambard-AI Phase 2 JupyterHub service (https://apps.isambard.ac.uk/aip2-jupyter) while it is updated and there will also be a risk of connectivity interruptions while the AWS components of the service are updated.	This maintenance window coincides with physical works on Isambard-AI Phase 2. During this time compute nodes will be drained, so there will be no additional impact on the ability to submit interactive jobs.
